Every year our School celebrates its Sports Day.It is one of the most loved events of the year, the children very longingly look forward to it. Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develops their team spirit. It helps children to develop mental and physical toughness. The school believes that sports is an integral part of education and in DAVPPS ,children are taught various sorts of games and are taught gross motor skills in very early stage to keep their values in life.

The ceremony commenced with ‘March Past’, where the parade was performed by all the four houses and led by their house captains.

Grades nursery to class 8th participated in various races- lemon and spoon race, relay race, bunny race and three-legged race, obstacle race, crown the clown and treasure hunt race etc.

It is indeed a thrilling experience for children, teachers and all the members of school.The winners who make it to the victory stand feel proud of being awarded with the medals and certificates, and appreciation from our honourable Principal Ma’am Nancy Sharma #sportsday
