DAV Police Public School, Bhondsi, Gurugram, successfully organized an orientation programme on *"𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐡 - 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧"*  on 24 January 2026 for teachers from Pre-Primary to Class XII. Led by coordinator Ms. Komal Sharma, the session focused on the mandatory integration of skill education effective from the 2025-26 academic session. Aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023, the curriculum emphasizes "Learning by Doing" and instilling a sense of the "Dignity of Labour" through early exposure to vocational education in Grades VI-VIII. 

The programme highlighted the transition to a new pedagogical structure, moving away from rote learning toward experiential, project-based teaching that connects concepts with real-life situations and local resources.

The workshop provided a deep dive into the Kaushal Bodh framework, which categorizes vocational learning into three "Forms of Work": Life Forms, Machines and Materials, and Human Services. Teachers were trained on classroom implementation strategies, including a 7-step project-based learning approach and the use of technology to foster critical thinking and collaboration. 

This initiative ensures that students are equipped with essential life skills and career readiness, supported by the mandatory setup of Composite Skill Labs to provide high-quality, hands-on training.
