Curriculum Connect – 1st Term

Today, DAVPPS Gurugram organized the much-awaited ‘Curriculum Connect – 1st Term’ session for the parents of Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students. The core aim of this event was to familiarize parents with the academic term plan and the classroom practices that shape their child’s learning journey.

Our Honourable Principal, Dr. Nancy Sharma, graced the session with her insightful address. She lovingly shared valuable parenting tips and emphasized the importance of nurturing a strong, meaningful bond with children, especially during their formative years.

The session beautifully showcased how our passionate teachers use various teaching aids and hands-on activities in class. Parents actively participated and relished the experience, engaging in the same playful learning their children enjoy every day. This not only gave them a peek into the classroom environment but also motivated them to replicate such interactive moments at home.

Teachers also provided a comprehensive overview of the curriculum structure, the methodical execution of classroom plans, and how each component supports the holistic development of a child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

This heartwarming initiative was a step towards strengthening the school-parent partnership by involving parents in the teaching-learning process, fostering a shared vision for every child's growth and success.
