Teacher's Training Program 

A Financial Literacy Session , a life skill, advance financial knowledge was organized at DAV PPS on 25 June 2025 in collaboration with ELMS by NCFE aimed at equipping educators with essential knowledge about managing money, budgeting, saving, and understanding basic banking concepts.

The session began at  8:00am in the lecture hall where teachers of primary wing till Senior Secondary  wing participated enthusiastically. The resource person, Dr Sunil Tripathi a certified financial educator, delivered an engaging and interactive talk on key aspects such as the importance of saving early, budgeting techniques, the power of compounding, safe digital transactions, and the difference between needs and wants.

Real-life examples, and a Q&A round made the session highly informative and relatable. The speaker also highlighted the growing role of financial discipline in teachers lives, especially in an age of online shopping, UPI payments, and digital wallets.  Facilitators were encouraged to start maintaining a personal budget and make informed financial choices.

The Principal, Dr Nancy Sharma appreciated the initiative and emphasized that financial awareness is an integral part of overall growth.

Overall, the session proved to be an eye-opener for educators and successfully sowed the seeds of responsible financial behavior among the staff.
