Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab and Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
To celebrate this propitious festival, Team DAVPPS organized a special assembly with great zeal and enthusiasm. The assembly began with school prayer, which was followed by Guru Ji's thoughts and a speech on an overview and knowledge about Guru Nanak Dev Ji's great life. The students also presented a melodious and soulful shabad and a dance drama, which gave the lesson - "Even Kings and emperors with heaps of wealth and vast dominion cannot compare with an ant filled with the love of God."
The assembly concluded by worthy Principal, Ms. Nancy Sharma appreciating the performance of the young performers and encouraging them to follow upon what Guru Nanak Dev ji taught and lived for. Tiny tots of the Pre - Primary wing demonstrated their devotion towards Waheguru ji through colours and paints.
